Coaxial Heat Exchanger Shape
What is a coaxial heat exchanger?
Coaxial heat exchanger is a kind of tubular heat exchanger, usually used as condenser or evaporator of heat pump, marine air conditioner, swimming pool, chiller, etc., mostly water-cooled heat exchanger. The structure can be circular, rectangular, helical, double helix, etc.
Coaxial heat exchanger structure
Tube-in-tube heat exchanger The coaxial heat exchanger is designed as a "tube-in-tube" structure. Usually the outer tube is made of steel/copper, and the inner tube can be made of titanium, copper, copper-nickel alloy according to the working conditions. Since there are many spiral grooves on the surface of the inner tube, this will enlarge the connection surface and transfer more heat.
Internal structure of coaxial heat exchanger
How does the heat exchange in the coaxial heat exchanger work?
Mainly the water flow in the inner tube and the refrigerant flow between the outer tube and the inner tube (refrigeration circuit). Refrigeration and water are at different temperatures, so heat is transferred from one warmer place to another. Mainly countercurrent.
The above is a coaxial heat exchanger of HZSS. Water flows into the inner tube from the bottom and out from the top. The refrigerant gas flows into the refrigeration circuit from the large-diameter copper tube, and the refrigerant liquid flows out of the small-diameter copper tube.
